Using a series of different training techniques – hello there ladder workout, oh, and hello there sets and reps – I mix it up so you get the results that you are looking for in a strength workout.

Tools: a pair of light & moderate dumbbells

1. Push-up ladder drill with inchworms
1 – 10

2. Kneeling row
3. Other arm
2 x 30sec

4. Dumbbell together tricep presses with crunch
1-10

5. 1 arm skullcrusher
6. Other arm
2 x 30sec

7. Kneeling bicep curls
2 x 30sec

8. Reverse flys ladder drill
1 -10

    Hi PJ, as always great workout! One question re the last workout: when we fly the arms do we fly them back sort of squeezing the shoulder blades, rather than lifting them up straight? Just wanna make sure i’m doing them correctly 😊 Thanks load xNini

    Hey PJ my name is Alexandra. I am almost 70 years old. I had been working out at my gym for the past 4: years with a trainer, but due to the pandemic have had to stop. I found your website on my tv as I have u tube on my tv. I had knee replacement surgery on my right knee September 21. I am finally able to use my cane outside my house. This morning I finally felt good enough to do your upper body work out. I use my recliner to lay back all the way for the tricep and or bicep work out and then use my walker which I can lock into place for the standing work outs just in case I need it for assistance. Thanks so much for this I will continue to use this work out for my upper body which is so in need of rebuilding strength and stamina! Gotten flabby bin my arms. Thanks for non knee options as I can't get down on the floor yet. Thanks again sooo much! 🎃😄

    Oh my goodness! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for . I don’t know why I didn’t find you before . I just did this workout and I loved it ! I just subscribed too! I’m 40 , have arthritis but have never stopped working out .

    Thank you for this workout. I like that you use swears-it means you are an honest person! I treat all of youtube as unsafe for kids, so you don't need to worry about mine. They've heard worse from me and their dad.

    Gonna feel this tomorrow 😅 great workout PJ! Ladders are tough, is there a difference going from 1 to 10 than from 10 to 1? Psychologically easier for me to go high to low 😀

    I'm so Happy i found your workouts! I'm 49 & going through the menopause stage. I started lifting dumbbells 5, 8, 10 & I'm seeing muscular results. 🙂💟 i want to lose some weight 10, 15 pounds. Should i do cardio everyday??
