👉 30 Minute WEIGHT LOSS Cardio Workout for Women Over 50 2021



Level THREE | NO jumping, ALL standing, NO equipment | BURN 200 – 250 calories

When you’re over 50, LOSING WEIGHT just isn’t what it used to be, is it? Well, my dear fellow menopause and perimenopause friends, that’s why I made us this workout!

This just-right CARDIO workout is designed especially for women over 50. It’s not too long and it’s not too short. It’s not too hard, and it’s definitely not too easy. And not only is it the Goldilocks of exercise routines, it’s ENOUGH.

While we’re sweating, let’s talk about why we shouldn’t push ourselves as hard as we used to (because it doesn’t work anymore!) and how being kind to ourselves and consistent is the best way to lose weight at ANY AGE.

There’s no jumping, no transitions to the ground, includes a warm up and cool down.

WARM UP:
Arm Circles with High Knees
Arm Crossers with Booty Kickers
Welcome to My Homes

SET UP:
The timer is set for 30 seconds and 20 seconds; complete three exercises before resting and complete each triplet twice before moving on

EXERCISES:
Reach Across + Toy Soldiers + Modified Jacks
Low Swinging Tappers + Rainbow Kicks + Kick Jacks
Punch Punch Kick + Big Arm Side Shuffles + Squat Jacks
Forward Hinge Arm Flappers + Skiers + Booty Kicker Jacks
High Knee Punches + Windmill Tappers + Side Kick Jacks
Tapback Bursts + Walking Stars + Leg Twister Jacks
Push Push Crunch + Double Knees + Drinky Bird Jacks

FINISHER (complete on both sides without rest):
Goofy Jacks + Tree Pose Hold

    My menopause sweats before I do . I get on my indoor bike and cycle for 20 to 40 min every day . I do core exercises too then I'm done . I have 20 Lbs to lose

    I like the video but I wish there wasn't so much talking. I had to stop watching it. All the talking is a little too much. Sorry.

    This is just perfect – I'm going to do it once a week (I spend 30 minutes with you every day, so this is now a fave) until I reach target weight, then do some more weights-y stuff. Thank you Pahal!

    This is my first time trying one of your workouts and I'm so glad I found it. It's just right for me! And thanks for explainong why recovery is so different for me because of the connection with estrogen changes. 😊

    Just found your channel and looking forward to the videos. I am 58 and been working out all my adult life but find I need something a little less dangerous now lol I spend most my time hiking but need to get back into Strength Training. This post menopaused kicks my ass and not in a good way lol

    I love this!! Also I love the talk she describes me. With doing too much and over doing it and I'm so glad I'm not alone. And she caters to us that don't like to go over that fine line.

    I'm 42 and I'm in perimenopause I started at two years ago so this channel applies to me so I'm not over 50……..

    I am really sorry but I could not hit the like button nor subscribe!! I was hoping there would be music with exciting beat and rhythm… i just could not believe that there would constant talking through the whole of the 30 minutes!!! It is just toooo much!! Maybe some people prefer talking to rhythm i guess!

    Absolutely loved this video and the 3/1 format. Also loved the cool down. I felt much more of a stretch with these cool down exercises than the normal cool down. Might trade off on the cool downs. Thanks for your videos and wise words.
