In this video, we’re going to break down the average weight loss per week and give you an idea of how much weight you should be expecting to lose. We will also give you some tips on how to lose weight consistently and diet more effectively.

There are a lot of factors that impact how fast you will lose weight. If you have a lot of weight to lose, you will lose weight faster. Your calorie deficit and the quality of your nutrition will also be factors in determining your typical weight loss rate per week.

Healthy Weight Loss Per Week:
Week 1 β†’ 1 – 10 lbs (0.45 – 4.5 kg)
Weeks 2-4 β†’ 1 – 5 lbs (0.45 – 2.2 kg)
Weeks 5-8 β†’ 0.5 – 3 lbs (0.22 – 1.3 kg)
Weeks 9+ β†’ 0 – 2 lbs (0 – 0.9 kg)

    Great video but I have been exercising and reduced my calorie intake walk practically every day and was weighing every day and have been getting extremely agitated, stressed and depressed because not one single pound have I lost. The scale does not budge.

    cool video. after giving birth the stomach, pelvis, metabolism, even the ab muscles seem to change and need more attention and care to maintain healthy weight and muscle. Great breakdown to help people out. Love how you mentioned energy levels, that is truly important. You should talk about veganism as well for energy levels! πŸ™‚

    Thanks a lot for making this video. Me and my girlfriend have been working out together but she's been a bit discouraged because I've been losing weight more quickly then her. But I showed her this video so that she could see she is actually right on track and doing great. Some people think they'll lose a lot of weight quickly but that leads to unreasonable expectations and can also be unhealthy. Great information!
