Come along with me on this beautiful POWER WALK with BALANCE practice, Killer Bs! We’re all about that low impact cardio today, getting our heart rate (moderately) up and then working on challenging balance poses.

The time to practice your balance is now, my friends, before we need it! Improving your balance will help you
⚖️ Stay on your feet as we age
⚖️ Prevent falls
⚖️ Strengthen your core
⚖️ Build your confidence

Today’s work is non-stop cardio and deep core stabilizer strength with no equipment, no jumping, no squats and no transitions to the ground.

SET UP:
The interval timer is set for 30 seconds of low impact cardio and 15 seconds of balance practice; complete the cardio and hold for one interval on each side; complete the entire circuit twice

WARM UP

EXERCISES:
Marching + Hands Up Knee Up Hold
Wide Marching + Side Kick Hold
Forward Kicks with High Hands + Forward Kick Hold
Grapevines + Star Balance Hold

The chair is still welcome during November. One more round and the year will be complete!

R3D17 done. My balance was terrible today. I do better just standing on one leg – doing the poses is tough for me – hopefully I’m not the only one. Was getting down on myself mentally but then remembered how you keep saying it’s balance practice and as long as I’m doing my best it’s awesome! Thanks Pahla.

Thank you for explaining the core muscles. I've been doing that wrong for decades. The workouts are very doable for me as well. They pack a punch but you don't realize it at the time.😊💖

Mid-way through Round 2 and there is noticeable improvement in my balance – can only help that there is a good 10 lbs less of me to balance than when I did R1D17. My dog now walks over to his bed – which is in the living room where I exercise – and settles in when he hears your voice and I start doing high knees. A sure sign of consistency! 🙂

Practice, practice practice….still need my chair but I can feel the results when I need to “catch my balance” during the day.

I'm on Round 2, and I have to say that Day 17 wasn't AS challenging this time as it was last month. It was exciting to notice that and know that my core is getting stronger and my balance are improving (even if Day 12 had me wobbling all over the place a few days ago!). Yay! Also, I'm very close to my goal weight now so I may be starting the body shaping series any day now! Giving my brain a new problem to solve.

Pahla I find like you my left side is not as good on balance. I used to think it wasn’t ever going to get any better but now I know it was just because I definitely wasn’t “practicing “ enough lol! My goal is now to do something every day for balance!’ Thanks so much for your encouragement and advice.

I love your variations Pahla. Just laying here seeing what Day 17 is looking like for me today. My quads are already burning just watching this. Keeping duct tape near by on this one case anything decides to fall off.😏

Hi Pahla. Thanks again. That felt like a great work out and really challenging. Love the focus on balancing and I have found where my core is with these work-outs. You give us time to get the technique rather than 'old school' bashing and crashing in the gym. Thanks for being so inspirational. Have a great day and see you tomorrow. xxxx

June 17th and I'm on round 5 with this series. My goal was to be in the 250's by the end of spring, which is next week. I achieved that goal today. In 3 months I see my self writing a weight that is 24? pounds. Thanks again, Pahla!

Loved that again Pahla. I look forward to your work outs every day and spending time with you and your positive encouragement. The time is perfect and I don't feel guilty for not spending an hour in the gym as I am so busy. Great content. Thanks again so much! xx

I am amazed at how much better my balance is after just 16 days – I thought I would really struggle with the balancing today. I'm not saying it was easy, but it's so encouraging to feel improvement on just day 17!! Thank you so much

I recently discovered your amazing channel Pahla. I just finished day 17 and feel fantastic! I have been sleeping better, feeling much more calm , and even lost weight and was able to but some cute new workout clothes! Your moderate approach is just what I needed after years of killing my self at the gym with mediocre results, aches, pains and always exhausted! You helped me see the light!!!!

I just finished, this looked easier than it really ended up being!! I was doing hiit relentless and the scale kept moving up and I felt hungry all the time. Since starting a daily moderate routine, I've lost 2 lbs, I'm less hungry and I think my body is happier with this pace! Thanks for the fun workouts!!

Paula, loved this one. It was especially difficult on the side balances since my sinuses are all plugged up thanks to allergies. Great workout!

I LOVED this! The moves were fun! U know, if someone has really good balance, they can close their eyes: I tried this for fun on a few of the balance moves and it made them really challenging!
