If you are one of those people who are willing to do anything to lose weight but eat healthy and workout, its time to listen up. It’s pretty pathetic that people are so lazy that they are willing to spend thousands of dollars to go to extremes to improve their appearance when all it takes is an improvement in your habits. Go to the farmers market, not the surgeon! Take your health seriously and know that it is within your control and that you CAN do something about it!

There's no motivation. I've tried but I'm instantly tired even from just doing a warm up. When I do get a bit of motivation it drains away quickly. There was only one place I ever felt actually motivated to work out and they had trainers to help, which I definitely need a trainer. But they are way out of my budget.

Amen sister! I have been having these thoughts for so long and have tried to explain this to my friends and family and they're just not getting it. It is not that it is impossible to lose weight and hit your goal, it's all about whether you're willing to put in the effort and stick with it. My mom struggled with weight loss for so long and lost hope for herself, what I tried telling her over and over, was that she just had to change her diet and exercise. It took her years to finally change her diet and get to the gym and she ended up losing 60 pounds. Keep making these videos they are very inspirational <3

I love that you keep it so real and I had to subscribe because I feel like you have so much incredible great advice it's really impacting me in such a short time. Also here's my story. I 'm like so fuking over it. I'm over being fat and disgusted weighing 195 at 5'8 it was just the annoyance of myself saying for 3 fcuking years (sorry for cursing)I was just so fed up that I was so determined. I'm going to lose weight and not doing a darn thing about it like I always do nothing! lol This year I said it again and no action again! until June/July this year when I was so fed up with being 190 and not losing more weight just stuck on this fluctuating cycle of 195, 192, & 190. I just wanted to get the fat lard off my body as fast as possible and I was desperate I was just so sick of being fat!!.

I learned about the snake diet fast or basically I dry fast for 5 days and lost like 15 pounds in a week it was like a miracle it cleansed my whole toxic fat system out and got rid of my cravings for junk food and I kept it off and lost even more weight. It has totally changed my life! and I feel like the only way to lose weight is to not eat anything at this point or just to get to my goals of 150/145 I've been intermittent fasting, water fasting, and dry fasting like almost every week and I started since July and I've lost a total of 25 pounds it working. At first, I thought I was plateauing but it seems like the truth is I'm really not disciplining myself and not taking into account fully how much macros and calories I need to be eating and also exercising at a specific level. I am eating healthy when I do eat but I realize it's maybe not enough food or sometimes I'll binge on healthy food like peanuts or bananas or broccoli. I've tried keto and I love the concept it works and I've done it but I love carbs bananas especially so it's just not going to work at this time. I'm currently in the 170 range and I look so good I fit all my clothes I bought to lose weight. I don't have to lose any more, but I'm stuck on being this goal of being 150 or 145 just because I just want to be that weight I was 10 years ago when I could eat anything I want and still maintain because I worked out and walked everywhere and I can fluctuate between 145 or 150 and just do maintenance. I also have a small fat lower belly pouch I plan on getting rid of it works my last nerves, lol. So I do, do the quick fix like icing my belly at night or running in sweatsuits and waist trainers everything else but I am eating healthy I have made a full commitment to a forever lifestyle change. I'm just working on the moderation part.

When you come to a point when you're so sick and tired of being fat you'll do anything to lose it. it's so true but it may not be the best thing for alot of women especially when common sense principles kick in. So if you have any advice please share! your videos are so amazing I'm just gonna binge watch and apply them to my new exciting healthy living lifestyle. Sorry for being a blabber mouth but Thanks so much!

People want to change their body's not their way of life. But weight loss is about changing your ways, which by the way got us there, and patience and commitment.
Change your mind and the rest will follow through, eat healthy, exercise, it will happen.
And if you don't believe it, fake it until you do, just keep saying to your self this will work and eventually you'll start seeing results.

Depression and mental illness needs to be dealt with because it does sap motivation. Also, physical limitations need to be worked around. I have a bad torn rotator cuff, sciatica pain, neck and back pain, arthritis, bone spurs, knee pain, hip pain, etc. Etc. I will find a way around this.

Im dealing with PCOS for like more than a decade, im also a mom of two girls. Im endomorph body type. Dealt with weight gain n worst..acne!! But I didn't give up cos i realized, i wont get anything good from giving up, i started eating healthy (as much as possible, coz i wont say i eat healthy 100% of the time) and then i keep working out till now. My rules for working out is "if other women can do it, I can also do it, it will not gonna kill me". Im 32 y/o now, i started to eat healthy n exercise when i was 26 y/o. I was successful n had good result after 1 year of strict diet n exercise. Diet for me is not starving myself but changing my food. I cant let myself starve hehe, i love foods. But after my 2nd baby, i got bigger again. Now my 2nd baby is 2 y/o and somehow having more time now…i am like, starting all over again…but i dont care, i'll do it again. I did once and i can do it again even if i have PCOS. Better doing it than giving up and doing nothing for change. Im asian by the way. Im on my 2nd month of diet n exercise now..will weigh myself after 3 months. Though i feel like i lost some weight already coz some of my shorts are fitting loose now. Im giving myself a year to transform.

Because working out and diet results takes long, and then you get dissatisfied and demotivated. I take forever to lose weight. By the time I lose 1 pound I already demotivated.

Agreed!!! My husband rocks & taught me self care. We payed for a PT & Gym when teaching my muscles how to work again. Learned life lessons from my PT. We even got the gym kid care for my well being. We did have to cut back on other things but it was well worth it.

Dear Christine, the WHY lays in the mindset of the lack of self-love. That is how a lot of us continue to make our mind and bodies a war zone. That reflects in those called quick fixes.
This is a real difficult question to answer in 5 minutes. And yes, so many things could be so easy and humankind makes it themselves often so hard…even when knowing better, or having all information by only a click 😉 blessings

Tough love is sometimes the most effective. Thank you for not being an enabler. I will not lie–this hurt to hear and it made me angry, but it was at myself, not you–all because you are right on the money. It challenged my 15 years of bad habits and the emotional immediacy of "I want it now" (aka entitlement)

Thank you. Keep up the good work and keep on throwing your opinions at us. Most of us interested in learning and changing probably love it!😊

Girl you better preach!!!!! Quick fixes also apply to our relationships, spiritual lives, hair, nails and beauty. People want all the glory without the work. Nobody in history ever proved that to be effective

I used to try those waist trainer things. I think short term solutions are appealing because some of us don’t trust ourselves to be consistent enough in the gym or eating right to see a difference.

I think that maybe consumers don't eat healthy because the media has really confused everyone on what healthy is.
You've got one doctor over here who is recommending the Atkins diet, and another over here behind WFPB, and then people who swear by Paleo or Keto. How is the average consumer supposed to keep up with it? There is "science" to justify and back all of it, so….??

I feel your frustration! I work in the medical field and it gets harder and harder to sit and listen to people who are literally on the brink of death state that they have "tried everything" to improve their health but cringe at the suggestion that they make some diet and lifestyle changes. Even small changes such as "cut out soda",  "avoid fast food" or "go for 5-10min walk 3 days per week". The response is usually a shit load of excuses as to why they can't followed by  "can't you help me get surgery? " or "isn't there any new pills out I could try?"…… If people aren't even willing to make minor changes when their life depends on it, most aren't going to opt for hard work to achieve their desired body shape. I stopped working with patients directly about 3 years ago and now work on the administrative side of healthcare, I admire your passion and drive to continue on encouraging people to make informative, healthy decisions when it comes to reaching their body goals and giving them the tools to make it happen.

I love your content 💟💟💟 I am healing from a neck injury and shoulder, so I've been doing the lose weight and gaining muscle the very slow way; eating healthy and going to the gym for my physical therapy exercises. I've looked into my diet and health when the assessment at the gym said I had low muscle tone and a high fat mass content, made me realize salads and chicken with a lot of fast food was so bad for me.
I had my first protein drink this year and felt better after many months of feeling fatigue and losing my hair, dry and brittle nails and skin, and foggy memory. I spend 3-4 hours daily on physical exercise for hips, legs, core, back, shoulders, and neck. I do give myself rest days. 30 minutes to an hour of cardio, before that I started walking in the treadmill for 10 to 15 minutes. No weights they give me inflammation on my neck and shoulder. With proper nutrition and physical therapy I've gained muscle and lost 15 pounds. My goal is to strengthen my whole body with correct posture so it can heal correctly and be able to function normally.

Good diet and exercise will make you feel better and stronger not only physically but mentally. Once you achieve your goal you'll be able to say I did it on my own the natural/right way 🙂

I tell people track macros eat whole foods and try to just cut down the crappy no value nutritional foods and if that is too hard a diet won't help it's likely something psychological be it a small issue or a major deep seeded issue so screw fad diets do the basics and check your mental health and address any issues you can within your means (I know psychologists can be expensive etc but there are things you can do like journaling and addressing emotions around food). If it's not psychological then it's likely just laziness and you are only mildly interested in trying basically!
It makes me happy to see people promote the real shit like you do. Thank you
