    I’m lost as to how you got 1,428 kal from that first equation you gave because mines a ridiculously long number? I’m 165lbs (74.843kg), I’m 5’8 (172.72cm) and 42 years old, so what would my kal be?😑

The equations for males and females are: Men: (10 × weight in kg) + (6.25 × height in cm) – (5 × age in years) + 5. Women: (10 × weight in kg) + (6.25 × height in cm) – (5 × age in years) – 161

    Ma'am, when I calculate bmr with your data input I arrive at 1,384 Cal/Day.

    The only way I arrive at 1428.3 would be if you input weight was actually 149.87lbs.

    When I checked my formula against your numbers, I came out with 1383.4 kcal vs your 1428 kcal. Not sure what I messed up.
