    I've had a really messed up 2 years, gained 40kg… sitting at 150kg atm. Had my daughter full time since she was 15 months old (she is now 3) and I've just neglected myself with the stress of family court and losing alot over the last two years.     How many fat people do you see over 70 years of age? Stop eating so much crap. Only eat what comes out of the ground plus sources of protein. How many people are fat in concentration camps?

    The video is solid advise but here is my extra take. Never mind this 4X4 meal nonsense. You can skip breakfast (coffee is OK)…do you think our ancestors ate breakfast? No! Skipping breakfast every day gives you a daily 16 h fast, with minimal effort (once you practice it) on top of cutting down your overall calorie intake dramatically. If you must have breakfast then avoid carbs.

    Eat a lunch with as little carbs as possible (eg, steamed fish and a salad) then have a balanced dinner with some carbs that are low on the glycemic index (release energy slowly) eg sweet potatoes, meat and lots of fresh veg (try and minimize pasta and such). You can have a piece of fruit for desert and of course, treat yourself to a proper desert once a week. Also, don't fixate about water…our bodies are evolutionarily programmed to let us know when we should drink water. You might have heard it it before…it's called thirst.

    So basically, a diet of minimal processed carbs, with fresh veg, fruit and meat with some regular fasting if you can do it (ie skipping breakfast). If you can push through a week of skipping breakfast then you'll stop craving it and will be fine until lunch. Don't keep bread or carb snacks in your house. If you need a snack at all during the day then have some nuts handy (no carb snacks), which should tide you over. Snacking is a habit more than an actual hunger…you can beak this habit. Also, fibre is vitally important – a couple of tablespoons of flaxseed (or similar) twice a day, with the bonus that these also contain healthy omega 3 fats.

    Also, eat only when you're hungry. For instance, today I got up, had a coffee for breakfast and wasn't hungry at lunch so I just skipped it and will have a bigger than usual dinner, which in turn will give me a 24 h fast without even trying! It's OK to skip meals if you are not hungry – we are evolutionarily programmed to go long stints without food and are thus not sufficiently equipped to have an over plentiful food supply. Less is more.

    I'm 45 and i now work from home on behind a computer getting fatter LOL. I'm gonna start getting into this with baby steps and eventually plan to get regular with the steps. Planning the meals is probably the hardest part for someone like me who is not much of a cook

    Once the covid thing hit and we all had to stay home I decided I would get fat for fun. I’m tall. So, I didn’t get like fat fat. But I am not shaped like a damn corn dog. I realized as I was doing this though. That oh crap if I lose the weight I’ll have skin sag.
    Now I’m trippin and want to burn this lard off my upper body. I’ve got titays, belly n rolls haha. I’ve never been fat in my entire life. Ever. Well. Now that I am I hate it. I should never ever have done this. I seriously ate the worst foods ever. One week I ate pizza every day. And zero exercise. Ha.
    Anyway. All this has made me think wow I just wanna eat super healthy now. Never really had to worry about it cuz I’ve never got fat. I’ve always had a super rad metabolism. Now I guess I don’t.
    So. Let’s see if this will work. Sounds fun.
    Would be nice if the skate park opened back up cuz I used to skate everyday.

    I was very fit during my13+ years in the military. I was wounded in 04 since then I’ve become lazy as out of shape. My back, left shoulder and right ankle were damaged. I’ve joined a health and wellness program through the VA. For those not injured I can see how it works. But not for me it’s hard to get a program that works. I’m on a disability so most programs are just too expensive. Got suggestions on a person like me?

    Would this work for women as well? My mum is in her late 40s and she has a lot of health problems so she cant do excessive excercise. She has migraine, gastric, fibrois, arthritis.

    I work both nights and days. 2 weeks nights, 2 weeks days, and the cycle continues. 12 hour shifts. My sleeping habits are trashed.

    Yes, I too am guilty of jumping from weight loss plan to others as well, I do believe that I must have tested every weight loss method that was available, however in the end not one of them helped me to reduce and maintain the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time with the Custokebon Secrets simply because my cousin who told me awesome things about it and so far to date I've successfully dropped 16 lbs in 4 weeks!

    Coffee – bollocks – what about those many older guys who have too much cortisol in their bodies….quiting coffee would be a perfect solution not suppressing your appetite and drinking coffee stimulating your adrenal glands not being able to sleep properly etc etc and yes its a fact very few actually give up coffee to check the difference in how they feel…..DO IT! it willl be a big difference………the rest is fine.

    SLEEP… my big issue. Usually go to bed around 1030, up at 415 to workout…. I've been doing that since about March. But im not making any progress. Just wondering, what are your thoughts on intermittent fasting?
    I put my email in to get the one day diet… but I didn't get it.

    is there such a thing as water weight. i literally train hard tbh and i drink about an extra 1 and half pints of water at the gym. i am losing fat but for the amount of training i,m doing its not coming off quick enough tbh. its that last bit of stubbon fat on the belly what i want gone. i think looking at pics of other mens fat% i,m roughly on about 16% body fat but want to reach 12% by summer time in 10 weeks. my diet is fine also.
