Because poor sleep habits make our body extremely resistant to losing weight. Remember that old saying ‘drink 8 8oz glasses of water each day’. Well, while that’s a good start, your optimal water target for weight loss is MUCH higher than that. Your actual target is your body weight in lbs/2 + 32 oz (1lb=0.45kg). So for a 200lb man, (200/2 +32), the daily target is 132 oz (1 gallon is around 126 oz). Yes that’s a lot of water, and yes you’re going to be hitting the bathroom frequently, but the benefits are well worth it.

#4 Do 30 Minutes of Daily Activity (8:18)

We’re not talking about formal workouts here. We’re talking about roughly 30 mins of light jogging, cycling, playing with your kids, or even walking. Committing to a consistent routine of daily activity triggers your brain to stop sending constant hunger cues.

The easiest place to start working this into your daily routine is to have a step counter and shoot for around 7,000-10,000 steps each day. Because the 30 minutes doesn’t have to be done all at once. As long as you’re getting it throughout the day, you’ll reap the benefits.

    Good video. I’m 55 years old. 1.5 years ago i change my eating habits and stopped eating sugar and processed grains (Bread, etc). Lowered my carbs to 50 grams or less and used intermittent fasting (18 hour fast) with no snacking between meals. I lost and continued to keep off 40+ pounds. Running and calisthenics workouts burn fat when body uses fats, not carbohydrates for fuel. But that works for me. 90% nutrition 10% workouts

    So my body only gets 5 hours of sleep a night. I just wake up after 5 hours of sleep. I can’t help it. Plus I have Sleep apnea untreated. Cannot wear a mask for the life of me. So does that mean I’m pretty much screwed?

    In this video it says to do MRT 3-4x a week but in others it says 1-2x a week plus 2 days of HIIT or Cardio. So if I’m doing cardio twice a week, do I do 3-4x of MRT each week?

    What happened to just working out. I'm 42yrs old and never had a problem with just working out. Thst easy. No programs, no trt or hgh. No ped's, just hit the fukn weights,

    Yeah it's much harder for men over 40 lose weight. I just hit 40 and it's already starting. I can't eat anything that's loaded with sugar or I'll blow up!
