    I just wait to drink my coffee with measured creamer during my window and it works for me πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ…for me I would rather wait and drink my coffee with creamer than drink it black in my fasting period haha

    just putting my 2cents in
    If you are really hungry in the mornings still, & you are a natural breakfast eater, why do you not change the time of your window so you can eat earlier?
    I have never been a natural breakfast eater, I am not hungry then, so I am happy to open my window at lunch time, but we are not all the same

    Hi risa I'm from sri lanka …I am 43 and is going through the same effect of IF …lost around 7kg s in 6 months maintained for 3 months and slowly started gaining all the weight back ..now I'm trying IF without simple carbs but I need my tea with milk in the morning

    Watching your last couple videos I can relate to so much like hating black coffee, exercising and don’t take away my cheese! I feel like a lot of ppl exercise intensely and don’t get the results they want because they just eat the same. They say when it comes to weight loss 95% is what you eat and exercise is about 5% and this is exactly what I’ve noticed too. Intermittent fasting is the only thing that works for me. I tried intermittent fasting with the ADF (alternate day fasting) schedule but didn’t get the results I do with 18:6 and it was hard to manage. Also I have sucked it up and stuck with the black coffee because I want a 100% clean fast

    I think giving our bodies 16 hours rest – without having to continually digest food – is what helps in making us healthy.

    Don't do workout. Try to choose a sport you like. Even walking. I personally hate going to the gym but I tried swimming and It's great.

    Your brain needs certain foods to get your body burning calories in the morning and fat
    Is one of them. That's why eggs are great ! Avocado toast. Their not only great foods for your
    Brain but great for your skin. Nuts are a great way to hold you off in between meals and portion
    Control. I have to have a meal or a candy bar once In a while to pat my self on the back. Alcohol
    Is what we normally over due in the holidays. Your creamer you will burn so quickly with the right
    Breakfast. Don't forget taking vitamin D and calcium are a must for women to help prevent
    Osteoporosis. Using pepper on foods helps your body digest the vitamins in your food.
    Going without food causes acid reflux. Are bodies digestion and stomach has acid waiting to
    Break down the food, if you don't eat it will come up in your mouth this bile disgusting stuff.
    Your breath will be horrible! So many foods have a bad rap potato's, eggs, are a few.
    It only takes 20 minutes to walk 2 miles. I like walking it clears my mind.

    I'm 53 . I agree with you that you have to be happy or comfortable with your appearance it's not all about what other people see you as it's what you see . Stop apologizing for wanting to be your self . I have found that green tea with honey or lemon or ginger helps with my appetite.

    I agree with keeping a bit of weight as you age. I have friends that have dropped a lot of weight and looks like they have aged 15 years…saggy. I am starting IF, but now only want to get down to what I called my fat weight back in the day. Lol..I'm fighting the creamer battle too.

    I also don't like to workout but now I Love to workout I started at Christmas of 2018 193 pounds now June 15 2019 I am 172 pounds I lost 22 pounds πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈβ€β€πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ‘πŸ‘

    I used to skip breakfast (had coffee with creamer) and did fine, but I had to start taking more vitamins in AM and would get sick in empty stomach so I ate avacodo or healthy fat in AM and a decent lunch, then a light or no dinner. You could start your fasting period that way in the early evening and through the night vs skipping breakfast. I agree, no snacks …go as long between eating as possible to keep insulin spikes.

    Rosa, I am so happy I stumbled across your video. I identify almost to the T to your story (minus the weight average) I'm a bit heavier and taller, late forties, but our story is so much the same. Thank you so much for sharing. I too plateaued and am now trying to get back on track. I also put a dash of creamer in my "butter coffee" in the morning. We have to enjoy life and maybe that means cutting something else out that can compensate for the creamer. Anyway I just wanted to thank you for sharing the video it kind of helped me feel better and that I'm not alone.

    I couldn’t give up creamer in coffee either sugar yes creamer definitely not 😜 I agree life is short you look great have your creamer ❀️

    I wonder if you use waist size as your measurements and focus on building muscle. There are a lot of health benefits of having lean muscle mass. Even starting with dumbbell at home stuff so you don’t need to make time for a gym.

    Sounds like you basically proved that your initial weight loss had more to do with what you ate (or in your case, what you did not eat, due to your diet overhaul). The minute you relaxed some of the restrictions the weight started to come back on despite you continuing with IF.

    As was the case for me, weight loss came from what I was eating rather than when. IF did not work for me.

    Hi Risa,
    I just started "the fasting lifestyle" a week ago… and I too have found it easy to do 16 hours, probably because I am also drinking a smoothie drink called Fastblast and it has really helped me. I have lost 5 pounds in one week! Like you I hate to exercise, but I'm going to give Zumba a try because… it's just dancing! I figure if it gets me moving then that, is a great thing πŸ™‚ Thank you for your videos!

    I buy Bolthouse Farms protein shakes in either vanilla or chocolate & use that in my coffee with a bit of stevia. It's really good!

    5'7"! I'm so jealous. I'm 5'2". It must be nice to be able to reach things. πŸ™‚ I'm losing weight by using My Fitness Pal & keeping my calories around 1400-1600. I power walk & lift free weights, too.

    You look great and look much leaner than the 1st IF video on half year ago. It inspires me a lot, I am planning to start IF and I would like collaborate with low carb (I love tortillas). I could postpone Breakfast time to noon time, normally I am not craving food at night. The IF 8 hours window I plan to set from 12 noon-8pm. My problem is I got sweet tooth.. always craving candies and sweets, I know it is not good at all
