Weight loss over 50 female and clarity of whether HIIT is safe during the menopause. This is a 12 minute HIIT workout, low impact and modified versions for people that can’t do the full exercise.

They had carried out some research in November 2019 and found that HIIT workouts are completely safe for menopausal women AND the women in their study that did HIIT workouts lost twice as much weight as those who did endurance (otherwise known as steady-state) workouts.

    This was a great beginning workout for me. I have been struggling with my weight for many years. I am only 41 and experiencing peri-menopause. I have gained even more belly fat. The cellulite on my thighs and arms are beginning to scare me. My GYN said even though my hormone panel results are good; I am at high risk for heart disease and osteoporosis (which at my age is not a good thing) I have watched several of you videos over the weekend then decided to workout with this morning using this video. I started following you on IG too. I have also taken advantage of your free gifts via your website. I just wanted to say Thank you Melissa Neill. I have followed so many fitness guru's (per say) but none were going through menopause or peri-menopause like me. I needed someone who was experiencing the same signs and symptoms but also excelled & looks great. I will be sure to keep you posted on my fat loss journey. I appreciate you sharing your journey to health & wealth with the world! Keep up the great work.

    Hi Melissa, I am 57 and I was looking to add HIIT to my regular exercise routine 3x a week and stumbled upon your channel. I love these exercises but my question is : I have carpal tunnel and wanted to know how I could perform the pushups without it being painful in my wrist? And, how often should I do HIIT?

    Thank you so much. I’ve let myself ballon since the pandemic. We even had Covid visit our home. The stress eating finally stops with you. You have given me hope. I’m back at square one. Your videos are a life saver!!!!

    Thank you so much for sharing all of your information! I am 56 years old and have always been active and never had a weight problem until this past year. I am officially post menopause. What a difference life is without all the hormones I used to take for granted. I have put on weight around my belly! Ugh! It is such a drag!

    Very good, Melissa! I notice you don't go all the way down on your push-ups. Is that because of your back issue, or is that how you generally do them for a HIIT workout?

    Also, your range of motion in the KB swing is what I've heard referred to as an "American Kettlebell Swing". Because of my tricky shoulders, I do the version where it comes up to about nose height. πŸ˜„

    I am just starting to get fitness in, have not went thru menopause YET, but ill be 52 soon, so i am sure its not to far off!
