    I love IF! Im 46 and had shot up to 163! I have always been a size 6 and around 138-142. At 5ft 6, 163 is just WAY too much! I had tried to get this weight off with working out more and the scale would NOT budge. I have done low carb and keto and that hasn't worked either. This is the ONLY thing that works! I do at least 20 hours per day and have started to go at least 36 hours once a week and will work up to 48 hours soon. I have only been at this for 2 weeks and have already lost 5 pounds and have found I'm just not hungry anymore. In fact, the longer I can go past 24 hours, the less hungry I am. I break the fast but I think this is only because it's a habit to eat…but I'm finding I don't really need to. I have enough fat stores and technically I am eating….I'm just snacking on my body fat. It seems my body realizes this and I just need to get on board with it!
    This has been, by far, the easiest way to diet…and I actually like the way I feel while doing it. Dieting just felt like too much hassle. IF is a way of life. As a bonus, my energy has increased, my shoulder pain and joint aches are diminishing and my pants are starting to fit better! Can't wait to see what a difference another week will make.

    You really look great! I have wanted to try intermittent fasting but unsure how to go about it. The way I control my weight is to eat no more that 1500 calories all week and enjoy a few more calories on the weekend. Can be restrictive. This video is very informative and gives me some great info to try intermittent fasting. Thank you for sharing.

    At 59, intermittent fasting is the ONLY way I can lose weight…I also think it is healthier for us! I also am not the type who can say "I am NEVER eating carbs again…or, NEVER again will I eat something sweet…that sets me up for failure…with intermittent fasting, I eat what I enjoy ONLY until I am full…not stuffed! Congrats on your weight loss…doesn't it feel great to open your closet and just slip something on!!!

    Im a big believer that breakfast makes you fat. I have breakfast around 1 pm. My body has spent the entire morning burning up unused calories from the day before.

    I find the same thing happens to me – exercise can distract me from my diet. It's easier to justify eating less nutritious foods, not to mention that certain exercises can cause so much hunger. That said, exercise is sooo good for your body. It's hard to find balance.
