Just because your parents raised you that doesn't mean you have to put up with being in abusive relationships, sometimes you're better off staying away and finding your own family. There are good people out there you just have to look. Considering how apparent it is that her addiction to food is trauma based from childhood she would be so much better off away from her mum and dad. I'm glad she has to see a psychologist at least. It's a shame her brother can't take her mum's place.
