It’s a beautiful day for some low impact CARDIO TONING, so grab your lightest dumbbells (or go hands-free) and let’s get sweaty!

While we’re toning long, lean muscles, we’re also chatting about the way your body perceives and releases stress, including:
WHY a moderate workout is so much better for weight loss than a strenuous one
HOW eating too little is just as bad for weight loss as eating too much, and
WHAT your body does when it feels stress

This perfectly moderate workout has no transitions to the floor and includes a warm up and cool down.

SET UP:
The interval timer is set for 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest; complete each “mini circuit” three times before moving on

    R3D30 done. Had a little bit of trouble with my coordination this morning. Oh well I kept on moving yeah! The finisher was tough but got through it and even did a couple on each side without tapping down. Hard for me to maintain my balance while moving ha ha !!     That was just what I needed. Took 5 days off with an ear infection followed by a uti. What a joy. This was a great way to get back to normal.

    This was a great workout! This is my third time through, and I'm happy to say I haven't missed a day this month! I am so appreciative of all the things I am learning about my body post menopause, and I thank you for your guidance!

    Hi Pahla,
    I’m using my daughter’s account but my name is Susan.
    I did the 31 body shaping last month and have been doing the weight loss one this month. I love them both!!
    But I think the body shaping is more suited to me so going forward I will do the weekly body shaping mini challenges.
    Thank you from the bottom of my heart for uploading these fantastic workouts for all of us ladies!
    I have a question brought about by something you said in today’s workout about how we have less estrogen now and our bodies recover less quickly from stress.
    So what about men? They have always had low levels of estrogen in their bodies. So how do their bodies deal with and recover from stress and does this change for them over 50 too?
    And if it’s because of testosterone aren’t our bodies more affected by the testosterone we have once the estrogen level starts diminishing?
    I appreciate any information you can give me about this.

    I just succeeded in completing the 31 day challenge in 47 days❣️ Lost 5lbs. I am going to do this Challenge again starting tomorrow. My goal is to complete in lesser days than before and still continue loosing weight. Maybe even the 31. Thanks you for this…

    Sweet workout Pahla. I love what you said about weight loss being about self love instead of punishment. I am totally pocketing that somewhere close inside. Now I am going to take my shower too and move on with my day feeling…aaaaahhhhhh…..

    Dear Pahla B! Thank you. First of all I can hardly believe that its day 30. i have been to my dietician today and i have lost 2,7 kilos (almost 6 pounds I think) and i have gained 0,6 kg of muscle…thanks! you are awesome…i will keep repeating these. I love your positivity! Thank you!

    Hi Pahla b skipped another day 27 year old wanted to visit mom. She takes long to call me. Day 30 was tough made it through. I feel like I'm missing something when I skip a day or two. Free hand with work out. I like this one targets waist buttocks and stomach. I got a compliment from a coworker that my face looked slimmer. Well looking forward tomorrow day 31. Also looking for other videos as well. Will do repeats of the 31 day challenge as well.

    The finisher finished me – I did alternating drinky birds instead. Still tough. Celebrating 6 months of daily movement – mostly with these workouts. Thanks Pahla!
