Hey loves! I really hope you all enjoyed this video from me! I am beyond grateful for all the love and sweet messages I have received from everyone and I wish you all the best on those of you who are inspired by my journey to adventure on yours. Just a little background I started my weight loss journey the last two weeks of 2016 and it was my mission to stick to this change as my New Years Resolution.

HEALTHY AFRICAN FOODS VIDEO:

MY HIIT ROUTINE ON THE TREADMILL:
* Sprint for 1 minute (at speed of 6.5 or higher), walk for 2 minutes (at speed of 3.5 or higher)
* You can leave the incline at speed 0.0 but I would recommend setting at 4.0 or higher (whatever your body is comfortable with, you can increase gradually)
* I did the routine twice a day, 5-7 days out the week
* Additional workouts that I would do after HIIT or in replacement of it is listed down below in description box (continue scrolling)

WEIGHT, HEIGHT, & BODY INFO:

* I am 5’1 and I went from 231 – 171. I lost a total of 60 pounds!
* I do not know my current measurements!

PREVIOUS CARDIO WORKOUT ROUTINE:

* 3-4 miles of HIIT workouts on the treadmill (twice a day, 5-7x out the week)

CURRENT CARDIO WORKOUT ROUTINE:

* 2 miles of HIIT on treadmill (30 sec sprint, 1 minute walk)
* 2 miles on the elliptical
* 2 miles on the bike

LIST OF FOODS I ATE:

brown rice • quinoa • wheat bread • wheat tortilla wraps • avocados • sweet potatoes • black beans • ripe/unripened plantain (boiled) • tilapia • salmon • tuna • sardines • salads • boiled eggs • scrambled eggs • any variation of vegetable soup • sushi • zucchini noodles • apple cinnamon oatmeal w/ banana slices + almonds/pistachios

mandarin oranges • melons • pineapples • mangoes • apples • water melon • grapes • cherries

    Ive slowly lost 35 lbs and have kept it off for almost a year beung very concious of the quantity of food i eat.i do nit count calories.i am a diabetic so i do count carbs and sugars every single day so that has helped tremendously only eating once a day.ive slowly added jogging/running.im so motivated every time i step on the scale and i see one less pound…even more motivated when i can run longer without stopping! I wish everyone luck

    I’m 19 years old 5’7/5’8, I started out at 244 pounds and I am now 199!!! GOD IS GOOD, I want to really get down to 175/170 but I’m praying that it looks right on me. I wanna lose my fupa, this tummy fat, and this last roll I have on my back. How tall are you by any chance if you don’t mind me asking? Btw you look great girly and keep up the great work ❤️😍.

    My Asian mom be cooking non-stop & kept on reminding me to eat. UGHHHH. I feel like my fam has been making it harder for me but it's ok I can do this 😩

    Well I must be a bird because calorie counting was the only method that worked for me. Mainly, it was a teaching tool. It taught me to pay closer attention to the labels and health benefits of each food. Also, showed me that many of the things that I “thought” were healthy were not or that I was still over consuming. It taught me portion control and how to substitute “bad foods” for healthier options. Still, I don’t plan on using forever but it was a necessary step in my journey to enlighten me on what NOT to do. In 4 weeks, I have lost 8lbs which is the most I’ve been able to accomplish in 6 years. So it actually does work for people, not just “the birds” 😉.

    Hi girls. i'm 164 lbs . trying to lose my weight . my arms are big. 😥 wish i could lose around 14-15 pounds. trying to lose some weight during my college semester break . wish me luck.❤

    The problem with lots of diets is that you're always starving and never in a good mood. Am I correct!? I know lots of people feel exactly the same way.
